Very highly detailed and well molded kit. Builds any of four versions including 2-Seat Night Fighter, day fighter, 'Droop Snoot' with bomber nose and F5 photo recon version.

Includes rare Microscale decal sheet #48-16 1/48 'Avengers and Helldivers' decal sheet. For the Avenger, this sheet includes VT-28 USS Monterey, NAS Barber's Point Hawaii and Uruguayan Air Force 'Escuela de Especialization Aeronaval.' Helldiver decals include French Navy and NAS Glenview Reserve Sq. Decals are new and not used; complete with paint and marking guide. The model itself is the 1973 White Box issue of the famous 1950s kit. Includes many action features: wings fold properly as on real aircraft, landing gear, tail wheel and arresting hook all retract and extend, turret revolves, machine gun elevates, bomb bay doors open and torpedo drops. Molded in dark gloss blue and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Monogram Grumman Gulfhawk (F3F) Gulf Oil - Blue Box Issue, 1/32, 6850

Third or fourth issue. Note the four digit part number, Mattel logo and "Blue Box" dated 1967. This airplane is a civil F3F that was flown for Gulf Oil by the famous stunt pilot Al Williams. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals including striping, sliding canopy, bracing material and instructions for rigging, and is molded in clear, orange and gray. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box shows much better than the 'very good-' rating, but is rated as such because there is clear tape along the bottom of the sides and box bottom tray.

Well molded and detailed kit for that time.

This kit was found in the stock room of a long-closed hobby shop and is in factory-new condition. From the original Monogram "Four Star" line. Hardbox is dated 1961. Very large and rare injection molded craft kit. Contains 9.75 inch by 7.75 inch frame - colorful pre-painted 3D Display - frame trim - injection molded Zebras and foliage - paint, two paint brushes and instructions with a small Artorama catalog. Scale unknown. The complete series consisted of three kits - the Lions, Giraffes and the Zebras. The kits are superbly done, but it is likely that the high cost ($2.98 in 1961) kept them from achieving high sales. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts, paint, brushes and instructions present.

For the advanced collector. This is Monogram's first car kit, number R1 and made in 1946. This kit was found in the stock room of a long-closed hobby shop and is in factory-new condition. The box is in exceptional condition, as is the kit inside. The Hot Shot Jet racer kit consists of a pre-carved balsa wood body with the grill design completely pre-cut, a sheet of printed wood parts, four rubber tires, a vacuform clear canopy (that has not turned yellow), axles, color decals and full size plans/instructions including details on how to power the car with a CO2 jet engine. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, decals and instructions.
