Dated 1981 and still the only 1/72 scale injection molded kit of this handsome aircraft. A very nicely molded kit of the Royal Navy cruiser floatplane with markings for both aircraft listed. Includes color painting guide on the back of the box. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. While the box is rough ('good-') condition, the kit inside is fine and the decals and instructions are both in 'excellent+' condition.

From the mid 1970s and original Pyro molds. Full hull kit measures almost 10 inches long when assembled and features very good molded detail including wood planking on the deck, wood grain on the hull and even copper plates below the waterline, pre-molded ratlines, detailed deck, billowing sails and display stand. Molded wood brown and off-white. A photo of the built kit on the instructions serves as a standing rigging diagram. Never started. Inventoried complete and includes the instructions. This is one of the 'intermediate' line of Pyro ship kits, which at the time were Pyro called '$1.00 Models'. All were roughly the same size and were a significant increase in detail from the '50 Cent Models'.

Still factory sealed and from the original 1950s high-quality molds. This kit has an interesting history. 'Miniature Masterpieces' was formed through an alliance of Lew Glaser (Revell) and Steve Adams (Adams Action Models) in 1953. Although the molds were made at Adams and it had the appearance of an independent company, the firm was run by Revell down to the prototypes being made at the Revell plant. Originally there was no evidence of the parent company on the surface. The State Coach of England was the first kit, issued in 1953. More kits of excellent quality followed. Revell completely took over the line in 1954 and in that year and the next, kits were labeled 'Revell' with a 'Miniature Masterpiece' label on the box top also. However, Adams broke the relationship with Revell in the later 1950s and began making kits under the Adams name in 1958 with the original molds. When Adams decided to leave the plastic business, they sold the molds to the famous HO Craftsman Train manufacturer Athearn, who released the armor under the name 'SNAP.' UPC then reissued the Miniature Masterpiece kits, probably with an agreement with Athearn (because Athearn never reissued them). However, Life-Like acquired the ex-Adams molds from Athearn in the early to mid 1970s and did reissue most if not all of this line. This issue is from about 1976 and lists the former 'MM' kits Chuck Wagon, Western Figures, Wells Fargo Stage coach as well as numerous Pyro and Palmer kits as being currently available.

Larger scale Pyro kit. Full hull model measures about 7 inches long when assembled. Nicely molded in wood brown and white with billowing sails and a display stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. This is one of the 'intermediate' line of Pyro ship kits, which were first called '$1.00 Models' and in 1967 were renamed '$1.25 Models.' All were roughly the same size and were a significant increase in detail from the Pyro '50 Cent Models' line (later called 74 cent models). Kits in the $1.00/$1.25 line (by 1967) included the Skipjack, Cutty Sark, Charles W. Morgan, HMS Bounty, HMS Ark Royal, USS Constellation, British Bomb Ketch, Chinese War Junk, Elsie - Gloucester Fisherman, Henri Grace A'Dieu, Dutch Staten Jacht, Gotta Le Jon and others. 50 Cent/75 Cent kits in 1967 included the Mayflower, Barbary Pirate, USS Constitution, Santa Maria, Golden Hind, Half Moon, Bon Homme Richard, Brig of War, HMS Victory, Flying Cloud, Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria, La Reale French Galley, Venetian Carrack, Roman Merchant, Spanish Galleon and others.

1975 original issue and not the common reissue. This model was released as a tie-in to the popular science fiction TV show starring Martin Landau and Barbara Bain. Measures 12 inches long when assembled and includes detachable cargo hold. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, #5 - a clip that holds the cargo compartment to the Eagle. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions.
