Still factory sealed. 1973 Mattel/Monogram release of the famous 'Four Star' kit. This one of at least two 'White Box' variants identified to date and one of a very famous series of 1/48 scale World War II aircraft originally issued in the 1960s. Features folding wings, rotating prop and wheels.

Original issue hardbox dated 1961. The box is in exceptional condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape or price tags and no litho pulls. General light edge wear and a slight concave dish are the only flaws. This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II kits that Monogram issued through the 1960s. Features folding wings, optional position landing gear, under-wing tanks, rotating prop and wheels and pilot + one ground crew. Molded in correct gloss blue, black and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. 1997 reissue from the original molds of the 1958 first issue. Possibly the best kit ever injection molded of the first aircraft to sustain powered, controlled flight. Excellent detail and includes rigging instructions. Kit also features figures of Orville and Wilbur Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories-"C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery that were all present at the first flight.

1998 Revell-Monogram re-issue of the classic Monogram "Four Star" model. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals for two colorful aircraft, sliding canopy and instructions for rigging. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

1973 release of the classic Four Star kit from 1963. This is one of a very popular series of World War II aircraft that Monogram originally released in the 1960s. The wings fold properly as on actual aircraft, the landing gear retracts including tail wheel and arresting hook and includes bombs, drop tanks and rockets. Well molded and detailed kit for that time. The model has never been started. The blue parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the black and clear parts were never factory sealed and have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes decals and instructions.

Includes decals for 'Night Take Off' piloted by Col. Charles Jordan, Commander, 58th Fighter bomber Wing, Korea, 1952 or 31st Fighter Escort Wing, SAC Command, Nouassuer Air Base, French Morocco during Operation Long Stride (August 1953).
