The Amiot 143 design was first flown in 1934 and was ordered into series production with the first deliveries in August of 1935. A very capable aircraft for it's day, it was obsolete but still in service with 5 bombing groups when WWII broke out. Brave air crews attacked not only night targets in Germany proper but made daylight raids on bridges at the Sedan during the Blitz.

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+

Lincoln PBY-5A Catalina - Bagged, 1/110

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed

$79

Very, very rare. Still factory staple sealed; this is a bagged kit with the factory paper header. Until now this kit was not known to exist; there is no mention of it in Burn's guide or anywhere on the internet. The model features recessed and raised surface detail, clear blisters, windows and cockpit window, retracting floats and more. There is a "Revell 'S' Style" base (but it's not the Revell base). What is more puzzling is that the artwork on the paper header is a copy of the Aurora first-issue PBY artwork. Please note that the header is damaged and missing some of the right hand section as shown.

Revell Convair F-106A Delta Dart Whip Fly with Whistle and Streamers, 1/67, H159-129

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG++

$145

Very rare 1961 issue in the Whip-Fly 'Master Modeler' series. Model even includes the F-106 trading stamp and Master Modeler application form. This issue is based on the 1950s F-106 "S" kit. The Delta Dart Whip Fly comes with USAF decals, flight ballast, handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers for the jet engine and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The short-lived Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. It was quickly discontinued when Revell discovered that heavily weighted models with sharply pointed noses rotating in a 24 foot diameter circle at very high speeds might not be safe.
