Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good+

Very rare, first and only hardbox issued as a tie-in promotion with Twentieth Century Fox Television's hit "12 O'Clock High." Dated 1965. Some of the most valuable models are linked to TV or movie promotions and the "12 O'Clock High" series from Aurora is no exception. Molded in silver and clear with the correct large 'Battle Damaged' decal sheet, which is in 'excellent++' condition. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE the box bottom has a closed split along one long side. Other kits in the series included the B-17, P-51, P-38, Me-109 and FW-190.

MPC 1974 Chevrolet Vega Promo, 1/25

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

Sold

Amazing condition, true dealer promotional model with the original box. One owner and obtained new from a Lexington, KY dealership in late 1973 by a discriminating collector. It is still wrapped in the original tissue paper and is in factory-new condition. It was never used, displayed or played with and the tires reflect that. Color and gloss are like new, as is the chrome, clear and tires. Complete with all parts. Although I can't imagine how it could be better, I'll grade it 9.8 out of 10 as I hesitate to call anything perfect. The box is 'excellent' and is stamped "74 VEGA MEDIUM BLUE" on the end flap. There are no MPC markings anywhere, but I have listed it as MPC as a guess since MPC marketed the VEGA line as kits in this scale.

Molded in gloss dark green and black. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Aurora Halberstadt CL-II - (CLII), 1/48, 136-98

Please note that this box exists in two versions; one with the PM seal at the extreme lower right and one with it an inch or so to the left. A nice kit of the dreaded 'Flying Razor' of WWI. The D-VIII had what it took to turn the tide in the air, but was introduced too late and in too few numbers to make a significant difference. Kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Unlike the other three kits, this model can have the interior framework covered as the real aircraft or it can remain uncovered. Includes a Wright Brother pilot and display stand. The wingspan is 765mm (over 30 inches) when assembled. The engineering of the kit is world-class right down to the assembly plans. This kit has never been started. North Pacific North Pacific ROG'r 21 inch Wingspan Balsa Long Range Rubber Powered Airplane - (Rise Off Ground)), C-2-690

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

Sold

North Pacific was famous for making the rubber powered Sleek Streak and Star Flyer which not only flew circles around the stick & rubber competition, but could be modified to achieve near competition performance. The glider line included the fantastic Stunt Flier, which for an 'out of the envelope' design, flew very, very well. North Pacific went all-out with this new 'guaranteed to fly' line that you built - a big departure from the simple bagged aircraft. The kit features high quality sheet balsa, stick, landing gear, prop/bearing/holder assembly, rubber motor, wing jig, full instructions and excellent flying tips as well. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. In this line, North Pacific made the Dust'r (19" ws biplane) and the Chuck'r glider with a 16 inch ws. In the more deluxe line they had the Sport'r, Racer and Bipe. Although superb models for those seeking long flights, the high cost of all these kits made them poor sellers and so they are very rare today.

Fujimi Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V A/B/C Motorized with Mabuchi Mini-Baby Motor - 303 Polish Sq - Commander John A. Kent Wing Leader at Northolt (Polish) - 'City of Bombay' Sq Normandy Invasion - FO G.W.H. Reynolds Spring 1942, 1/48, 0765

The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Even the motor is still factory sealed.

Revell The Golden Hind Flagship of Sir Francis Drake, 1/96, H324-300

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: NM

Sold

1965 hardbox issue with an exceptional 'near mint' graded box. As with most all early Revell sailing ship models, this one is highly detailed and finely molded. Kit features a detailed full hull with display stand, complete deck fittings, vacuform sails, figures of Drake and his crew, preformed rat lines, very detailed painting instructions, rigging instructions and more. Never started. All parts and paperwork & sails are still sealed in the factory bag.

Revell B-24 Liberator Buffalo Bill With Early One-Piece Stand Arm - Pre 'S' Issue, 1/92, H218-98

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good+

Sold

Very rare 1954 true first issue with correct early stand. The box is graded 'good+' and has brilliant color and gloss, four solid corners, no price tags and no fading. Flaws include light general wear, light chips and a mark where tape once was (just to the left of the nose turret). Molded in correct glossy olive drab and clear with 'Buffalo Bill' decals and rare first issue 'Revelving Swivel Base' stand. This has the one-piece plastic stand arm. This design proved very fragile and Revell quickly replaced it less than one year into sales. The instructions are in 'excellent+'condition and correctly show the one piece stand arm. Decals are still flat and are 'excellent' with light yellowing as the only flaw. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts including decals and instructions. The original 'krinkle' small parts bag is present but open; that is why I had to do a 100% inventory.

Revell Albatros D-III, 1/72, H629-50

Markings are for Fighting Squadron 2 which operated from the USS Lexington (CV-2) in the 1930s.
