The Sukhoi T-49 was a modernized version of the Sukhoi Su-11 with new radar and modified armament. The project was officially launched on August 6, 1957. The maiden flight of the T-49 prototype took place in January 1960, after various rolling tests in October 1959. While not successful in it's own, the T-48 lead to the twin-engine T-58, which became the very successful Su-15 Flagon (of which 1290 were made of all Flagon variants). Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Rare and still factory sealed. This AHM release is from the original Crown molds that would make it 1/50 scale; Burn guide lists the mold origins as unknown and lists it as 1/48. Crown made a very good line of motorized tanks and AHM reissued many of them. Associated Hobby Manufactures was an American company that did not cut it's own molds but sourced model kits from around the world through the 1960s and probably into the 1970s as well.

Rare AHM release from the original Crown molds that would make it 1/50 scale. Burn's guide lists the mold origins as "unknown" and 1/48 scale; however, we now know that AHM reissued Crown's very nice line of motorized tanks and in many cases even used the original box top artwork. Features all parts for motorizing (all metal gearbox, electric motor, pinion gear, battery contacts, wire & switch), working bogies and realistic drive on the rear sprockets. Never started. All plastic parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The small metal parts have been inventoried complete and includes tracks, decals and instructions. However, NOTE: tracks are brittle and broken into several sections. Early in the development of the Seiran submarine based float plane, two preproduction airframes emerged with retractable landing gear for land operation. These were likely the 5th and 6th prototypes and they had dual controls. They were given the 'K' designation for trainer. They could also be operated from the submarines as they had the same catapult attachment. Training may have taken place like this with and airbase landing. It is interesting that the original Seiran concept did not call for floats as the aircraft would launch from the submarine catapult and crash-land beside the submarine when the mission was over. This limited edition model kit features fine recessed panel line detail and decals for both aircraft. Never started. From about 1991. A super high performance fun fly airplane that turns into an addiction after a few flights. The unconventional "V" tail make this airplane do things a straight tail never dreamed of. The Yankee Twister combines radical performance with some very conventional construction methods. Most of the assembly is of balsa, hard and ply woods. Some composite materials are utilized but hold no surprises and require no special tools or adhesives to make them work. Features factory cut ribs and numerous other factory cut balsa and plywood parts, fully formed wire landing gear and much more. With plans and a text instructions booklet. Never started. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the larger parts were never factory sealed and some are still held together with the original rubber bands. Inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork. NOTE: this kit came in a very sturdy and thick cardboard box. It will ship in that box wrapped in thick brown paper. It has been inventoried and missing one wheels, but a substitute is included that is the exact same dimensions but has a slightly different hub.
