This is a highly prefabricated sailplane model that includes a Plura plastic fuselage with all necessary holes for the horizontal fin precision factory made, profiled tailplane panels, slotted for pivot tubes, profiled all-balsa rudder, all balsa wings of 'Jedelsky' construction with all parts accurately profiled and die-cut (no covering material need), all wing joiner parts and brass joiner tubes, extensive R/C hardware packet, lightweight vacuform canopy and much more. Includes color decals (factory mounted to the underside of the box top with red 'Robbe' tape, extensive full-size plans and a large instruction book in four languages including English. Never started. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. Robbe sealed every small part in clear bags; and put the larger parts in open clear bags. The only parts not in factory bags are some of the larger balsa and lite-ply diecut sheets and the wooden strip stock (which is still sealed together with Robbe red tape). Includes all paperwork.

First issue hardbox kit dated 1958 with great box art. This is a perfect 'Classic Builder' and not the common reissue. It was an excellent kit for that time, featuring removable missile, firing arm with working piston and cylinder, movable wheels, tow bar and detailed crew figures. Molded in the correct gloss gray and white. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

1954 Pre-S issue. The box is solid and has excellent color and gloss but has the white tape remains as shown. The kit has never been started. Inside is is exactly as if left the factory; all small parts are still in the factory sealed bag, while the large parts have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are in 'excellent++' condition with very light yellowing as the only flaw. This kit has a fascinating history The first issue was in the simple and thin one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, a two piece box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but in this issue it had the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflected that. Revell quickly realized that the one-piece arm was not strong enough, and quickly modified it to the familiar three piece arm for the 3rd (this) issue. The kit went on to be reissued several more times with different box art and even Revell of Germany and England had European issues as well.

Beautifully cast in high-definition resin. Features good cockpit, optional position landing gear, drop tanks and more. The Mig-19 (J-6) was the first successful jet aircraft built in Communist China, so it was no surprise when it served as the basis of a new strike/attack aircraft. The Chinese stretched the fuselage of the J-6 and repositioned the intakes to the cockpit sides, giving the aircraft a pointed nose. By early 1988 some 600 Q-5s were in service in China. North Korea received an significant number of them, but the first hard-currency customer was Pakistan, who at one point operated about 150 'Fantans.'
