Rare. Still factory sealed. Early issue from 1969 and not the newer reproduction. Contains two large 18 inch long SSTs, one in landing and one in cruise configuration. The Boeing SST was modeled here is the second (2707-200) variant which still had the swing-wing design which proved impractical in this aircraft. The damaging effects of sonic booms over population centers ultimately contributed to the cancellation of the project.

Still factory sealed. Excellent quality kit of a rare subject. Very well detailed, large scale model with a waterline hull. Named for Jason, the leader of the Argonauts and a Thessalian king's son. The original Jason sailed on the Argo and brought back the mythical golden fleece. This ship, the MS Jason, lead a very active and productive life. She was built in 1954 at the Unterweser Werft in Bremerhaven for DG Neptune. In 1966 she was converted to a charter/survey ship Seismic for Prakla seismos. In 1973 Jason was sold to Christos M. in Cyprus and renamed Minos. In 1977 she was sold again to Honduras as Buena Suerta. She was renaned Lea in 1989 and scrapped in Aliaga in 1990.

Large scale (1/125) 1976 issue. Measures over 20 inches long when assembled. U-99 was one of the most active and successful early boats under the command of Otto Kretschmer. She survived 7 active patrols but was sunk on the 8th patrol on March 17, 1941. 40 of the crew survived the sinking, including Kretschmer, who accounted for the greatest tonnage of shipping sunk by any commander in WWII. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions included.

Still factory sealed but the seal has split on the left short side. Purchased new Feb. 20, 1966. large-scale flyer for rubber or 1/4 to 1/2A gas power. Could be made RC with today's small and light servos and receivers. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, detailed full size plans, building instructions, hardware, wheels and canopy material, rubber, insignia, tissue and propeller. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

StromBecker was famous for this line of precarved hardwood kits and they are considered the finest ever made. The carving is done to the final shape which makes them remarkably pre-fabricated. Most included plastic detail parts (colored or clear), decals and sometimes even glue and wood filler (if applicable). When built it makes an impressive desk top display. This F-84 has a 5 3/4 inch wingspan. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE: the box displays better than the 'good-' grade but is ranked as such due to split corners and clear tape on the corners.
