1958 issue in rare, investment-grade 'Mint' condition. The original owner neatly cut the original seal along the bottom and kept it on the box top, thus preserving the factory fresh appearance. A nice kit for that time featuring cockpit with floors, seats, control sticks & instrument panels, clear windshields, rotating prop, pilot figure, clear triangle base display stand and RAF decals. Inside, the kit is like new. It has not been started and even has the original factory tissue paper. With 'excellent' condition decals and instructions.

Beautiful, like-new condition brass narrow gauge locomotive, hand-built in Japan by the renown Balboa Scale models. It is still wrapped in the original plastic and all three pieces of the factory foam are intact and in 'excellent+' condition. This model has always been carefully stored in the original box. There is the slightest bit of wheel wear at 14x magnification, so it appears it was test run at one point - probably at Balboa. I see no broken parts and no modifications; it looks factory-new. Also includes the correct fold-out blue Balboa instruction sheet and factory sealed Balboa/Champ decals for the RGS Galloping Goose. The box top and tray are complete but both have wear and stains, so they grade low. I have no narrow gauge track, so I am unable to test the locomotive, so it is sold "As Is."

1997 reissue of the 1959 Four Star model designed for operation by Jetex or CO2 capsules. Molded in bright red, black and clear plastic and includes full decals. Assembly instructions are well illustrated and also include full details on jet power installation. The CO2 cartridge pictured looks just like a modern cartridge, so one of those should work well.

Very old 1932 issue from Ideal Aeroplane & Supply Company. Ideal was one of the first US model airplane producers, starting their business in 1911. During the early years of the Great Depression, Ideal switched to balsa wood and soon released a line of 'Six Inch Wingspread' solid scale models in a line called 'Ideal Midget-Craft'. Adds for this line can be seen in Model Airplane News and other major popular aircraft publications of the 1930s. The models included plans and the required wood and usually retailed for about 10 cents. This aircraft has been started, which in this case is good news. The fuselage from Ideal was simply wooden stock. The original builder has carved the fuselage very accurately and correctly to about 90% finished. No other work has been done and no other parts have been cut out of the printwood. The model is complete and would be easy to finish.

Very rare. Of all the P-38 variants, this one seems to turn up the least. I even doubted the existence of it for a time. This would be the fourth issue and is most likely from 1957. It uses the same artwork as the 1955/56 Third issue, but Aurora dropped the rectangular 'Aurora Line' logo and Famous Fighters of All Nations logo. Molded in a very high gloss olive drab and clear, with the correct clear two-piece 'World' triangle based stand. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, exceptional condition decals and instructions. As with typical with Aurora, they used the 1956 instructions, replaced the old logo with the new, added the Parent's Magazine seal but left an illustration of the old stand (for which 1956 was the last year).
