Strombecker was famous for this line of precarved hardwood and plastic kits. All parts are made to shape, including the fuselage, which made these kits easy to assembly and finish. The scale is not listed but has a 6.5 inch wingspan when completed. This kit also includes a clear injection molded canopy, wooden base, wire support, color decals, glue and sandpaper and a stand. When complete it makes an impressive desk top display. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

This is a Kyosho kit made and packed in Japan in the 1960s but marketed by Kayeff Inc in California. I estimate the wingspan to be about 36 inches. This is a beautiful classic kit with a high degree of prefabrication for it's day. The kit features completely precut ribs, wheel pants, firewall, elevator, rudder and many other balsa parts (thin and very thick), die-cut plywood fuselage bulkheads, formed wire main and nose landing gear, balloon tires, metal push rods (for control line linkage), a metal hardware pack that is still sealed, numerous other wood and metal parts as needed, window material, tissue covering and more. This kit has not been started. The parts are complete, with the factory sealed ones still bag sealed and many parts still wrapped with the factory Kyosho tape. NOTE: I have lost the plans to this kit. You will need to find a set of Kyosho plans to build this model.

Still factory sealed. 1994 re-release of the 1982 release- which itself is from the very popular 1960s original molds. Has many operational features including the V-2 missile with removable panel with full interior including fuel tanks, rocket engine and more, working launcher and transport trailer/erector and crew members. Please note that Revell lists this kit as 1/54 but I have noted it as 1/69 because the built missile measures 8" tall and the actual missile is 45.9 feet tall. That comes out to be 1/69.

Rare and beautiful resin kit with all fine recessed panel lines, detailed cockpit, two vacuform canopies (in mint condition and not yellowed), detailed gear wells, drop tanks and full decals. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The famous 1948 Thunderceptor was a very advanced design, but hybrid jet and rocket engine system created problems, among other things. With it's hybrid afterburning turbojet engine and XLR-11 rocket motor (of X-1 fame), it was the first US aircraft to break the sound barrier in level flight in December of 1951. The second prototype was destroyed but the original XF-91 is preserved at the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio.
