Very early 1960s Tamiya model with high gloss box top and very collectible artwork. The box is in 'excellent++' condition. This is a superbly nicely molded kit for that time featuring clear fuselage half and cowling, very detailed interior, working ailerons, flaps and elevators, retractable landing gear and also three crew figures. The kit is intended to be motorized and includes all hardware and special stand that holds the batteries. As was the custom, Tamiya did not include the motor with the kit. Includes markings for four different aircraft. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; all three bags still have the special Tamiya paper headers present and in 'excellent' condition. Includes decals and instructions, both of which are in 'very good++' condition with the only flaw being typical age yellowing.

This is a very nicely molded kit for that time and features many moving parts, all hardware for motorizing, an all metal gear box for realistic track drive from the sprockets and more. 1967 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. The model includes rubber tires, brass plated & colored and clear plastic parts.
