Still factory sealed. 1982 issue from the original 1970s molds. Large 21 inch long kit that is well detailed for that time. Features detailed conning tower and periscopes, swiveling anti-aircraft guns, detailed torpedo tubes, rudder and screws and a display stand.Well detailed kit is 21 inches long when assembled. USS Growler was captained by Commander Howard W. Gilmore. On February 7, 1943, Growler was patrolling on the surface in the Pacific when an enemy vessel was spotted close aboard. The enemy changed course to ram, but Gilmore torpedoed her, leaving her crippled in the water. However, the ship opened fire with .60 caliber machine gun fire from close range, mortally wounding Commander Gilmore. His dying words were 'Take her down'. He remained on the bridge while the sub crash-dove to safety. For this he received the Navy Cross, Gold Star, and was recommended for a posthumous Medal of Honor.

Highly detailed full-hull model with over 390 pieces and four frets of photoetched brass parts. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes flag sheet and instructions. The Tsesarevich was laid down in May of 1899 at the Toulon Shipyard in France. When completed in 1903, she was one of the most impressive warships of her time with a displacement of 12,912 tons, 20 coal-fired boilers, a speed of 18 knots and four 304mm guns (12") guns and a heavy secondary armament.

Well detailed and molded kit from 1982. The box is complete but rough, but parts and decals are both factory sealed and 'excellent++' as are the instructions. Features rubber tires, metal rigging lines and rigging instructions, excellent engine and cockpit detail, separately molded rudder, four positionable figures (two sitting and two standing) and more. Includes an extensive painting guide and decals for three different aircraft. Molded in orange, dark wood brown, clear and white plastic. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. DD-792 USS Callaghan was sunk July 9, 1945, by a Willow configured for kamikaze attack. It has been reported the light construction of the aircraft prevented the ship's AA ammunition proximity fuses from detonating. The type was also reported to have been used by Indonesian forces against Dutch colonial rule in 1947.

1968 reissue of the Helios kit from 1959. Rare 'near future' space model of a proposed nuclear powered lunar landing craft from 1959. The model was designed by Krafft A. Ehricke of Convair Astronautics Division, who also designed the Revell Space Shuttlecraft and some of the famous Strombecker Space kits. All phases of the flight can be recreated with the model; twisting the nose cone actually lowers the landing gear and power cables. Includes retractable landing gear, movable control surfaces, removable control capsule on first stage, gondola power cables that reel in and out, detailed living quarters with removable viewing panel, launch platform and 5 crew. Correctly molded in three colors: silver, dark blue and white. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) of (7) launch ring supports, (1) of (2) #22 small door and (2) of (8) #35 hinge. All these parts can be cast and molded because other identical part numbers are present. Otherwise 100% inventoried complete with all other parts, decals and instructions present.
