True 1960 hardbox release in amazing, investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. Notice the 79 cent extension, 'Sunburst' logo with 'Famous Fighters' inside which gives us the early date. The box is amazing with only the very lightest and slightest of wear. Molded in high-gloss black and clear with the clear triangular 'globe' display stand. It even includes the original factory tissue packing paper. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are intact and perfectly flat, graded 'excellent++' with slight yellowing as the only flaw; the instructions are 'near mint++' condition.

First issue from 1956 with Jim Cox boxart and Northern Lights logo. The logo on this box top was only used for one year; in 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Molded in glossy olive green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. While the top of the box displays 'near mint,' the box is only graded 'excellent because the right short side has light but obvious sun fading.

The 'Hot Rod' Gremlin version features parts to build a stock or 'Muscle' Drag Car, detailed engine and compartment, opening high rise hood, detailed chassis, Crager mags & Goodyear tires, side pipes, spoiler, window fillers, roll cage, drag shocks & rear drag springs, high rise dual manifold, tube headers, Levi's Bucket Seat interior and more. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate, metal axles and with black tires. Never started. The parts that were factory sealed are still sealed and in the clear bag. The parts that were never factory sealed (chrome and clear) have been inventoried complete. With decals and instructions. This is one of Renewal's famous Aeroskin kits, and a rare large one in 1/48. Features markings for the aircraft of "High Hat Squadron," VF-1B commander Seligman aboard the USS Saratoga in the early 1930s. The model has an injection molded inner structure of ribs and stringers like a real aircraft, then the modeler covers it with provided authentic pre-colored Aeroskin fabric. There is no painting needed as elaborate finishes are printed directly on the Aeroskin covering. This results a very realistic and colorful model. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including Aeroskin and instructions.

Original Renwal release from the early 1960s. This was an excellent kit for that time featuring three removable missiles, a detailed launch trailer that elevates and rotates the missiles, complete radar trailer with rotating and tilting radar housings and more. Includes a crew of four and full decals. The kit has not been started. The missiles are still sealed in the factory bag. The launcher and radar trailer were never factory sealed, and they have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Aircraft from the Oriskany waged the Navy's first all-jet dogfight over Korea against eight Migs. Well detailed and features a full hull, complete propeller and rudder detail, movable elevators and cranes, separately molded AA armament & gun directors, detailed island structure with radar/sensor suite and much more. Includes an air wing with S-2 Trackers, F-8 Crusaders, A-4 Skyhawks and SH-3 Seakings.
