From original 1960s molds. Very large scale kit that was well detailed for that time. Can be built for display, free run or remote control. For free running it can be programmed to do rectangles, figure 8, circle or go straight. Inside, the kit is like it left the factory and still includes all of the original factory internal cardboard subdivisions and small parts box. Never started. The small bags including gears and hardware are still factory sealed. All other parts have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

1967 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood and spoke wheels. Never started. Rare Japan Hasegawa/Frog early issue. As you know, AMT marketed Frog in the USA as AMT-Frog. Frog also marketed Hasegawa kits in the UK, but with no Hasegawa identification. What is even less known is that Hasegawa marketed Frog kits in Japan under the Hasegawa/Frog label. The parts appear to be molded in England while the decals, box and instructions were all made in Japan. This P-38 is one of those kits. This is a very early example with the early rectangle logo; the Frog logo is immediately to the right. Most Japan issue kits had special features and this one is no exception. It includes a special round-based clear two-piece globe stand, a unopened tube of Hasegawa cement and additional decals - no fewer than four different Lightnings are represented with paint guides. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the box displays better than the 'fair+' grade but is noted as such because the right short side is badly water damaged. There is no water damage to the parts, decals or instructions.

1974 release with desirable Shep Paine full-color Diorama Sheet. Very finely molded and detailed kit with traditional high Monogram quality. This vehicle could put up a withering barrage of lead in the path of Allied airmen. The Flakpanzer used a Panzer IV chassis and mounted a 2CM Flakvierling 38 anti-aircraft gun in an open, rotating armored turret. It could reach 25 mph with it's 12 cylinder Maybach engine and had a range of 125 miles. Features rotating turret, elevating guns and gun sight, working detailed flexible treads, spring-action bogeys, optional position hatch covers, extra tread links, bogeys, Jerry cans and helmets. Very nicely molded and detailed kit that has decals for both aircraft. NOTE: this kit has very minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: two float halves assembled. There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. In the 1930s Pan Am was a household word in the USA for their romantic foreign routes and the glamorous 'China Clippers' that crossed the Pacific Ocean, stopping at such ports as Wake Island. Pan Am's attention soon turned to the Atlantic. Since non-stop service would be needed, a new aircraft was designed. The Boeing 314 was chosen. This huge flying boat started flying the Atlantic mail in 1939 with a trip over 26 hours long. Before the war, the 314 fleet flew the Pacific, Atlantic and other routes. The airliner was a palace compared to the cramped jets and limited service of today. The flight deck compared to the bridge of a ship and housed 6 crew. It was connected to the passenger cabin by a spiral staircase. The luxurious cabins were divided into 5 standard compartments, each seating 10 passengers, a dining salon for 14, a special compartment for four and a deluxe bridal suite. 74 could be carried on day trips and 40 when sleeping quarters for all passengers was required. Chefs prepared gourmet meals while passengers lounged in deeply cushioned wicker chairs and enjoyed a grand view of the scenery from about 5,000 feet. The age of the Clippers ended shortly after WWII when land planes could operate at much higher speeds than the flying boats.
