Features high quality limited-run moldings, recessed panel lines and parts & decals for V1 and V4. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Designed as an enhanced version of the Bf-109, the 209 witnessed many incarnations. Originally designed to use 109 components, this quickly fell by the wayside, and when the final variant (V5) flew in 1944, it was more than 30 mph slower than the current FW designs. The project was canceled and ended Messerschmitt's final bid to build a high performance piston interceptor.
