Build the ultimate Revell Big E! Includes Gold Medal Models 1/480 Enterprise / Hornet / Yorktown brass photoetched super detail set (mint and complete), Starfighter Decals for CV-6 Enterprise from the Battle of Midway to Guadalcanal 1942 (an incredible set of with ship and extensive airwing markings, mint and never used), and the amazing Nautilul Models C-40 Resin Island for USS Yorktown (CV-5) for Spring 1942 (complete, never used). The Yorktown island will require modification if you wish to use it. The actual model is dated 1969 and has fantastic box artwork. CV-6 has a combat record unequaled in the history of the US Navy and is considered the most "Successful Warship in History." Her totals were as follows: 20 Battle Stars, 911 Aircraft Destroyed and 71 Ships Sunk. She took part in almost every major action of the Pacific war from 1941 to 1945. The fascinating history of this ship is told by Commander Edward P. Stafford, USN, in his legendary book "The Big E - The Story of the USS Enterprise." Kit is over 20 inches long and includes a one piece hull, propeller and rudder detail, SBD scout-bombers, moving cranes and complete decals and flags. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes (Starfighter) decals and instructions. Please NOTE that there are no kit decals (just the superior Starfighter ones) and 5 kits parts are a slightly lighter gray shade of plastic than the others (they are from a later issue of this same kit)
