Molded in three colors - ivory, light wood tan and dark brown wood. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing #70, 71 boomkins (tripod made from straight cylinders) and #20 galley stack. The 295' bark rigged sailing ship was built in 1936 in Bremerhaven, Germany, for the German Navy. It was originally named Horst Vessel. The vessel was acquired in 1946 as a World War II war reparation. The ship was named the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle, and has been used ever since as a training ship for future U.S. Coast Guard Officers. Eagle is based in New London, Connecticut.
