20 inches long and 11.5 inches high when assembled. Constructo kits are the finest of all the older prefabricated wooden ship kits. Features a completely shaped and sanded hardwood hull with predrilled mast, bowsprit, anchor chain and pedestal mounting holes, finished wood display stand, finished and painted stand pedestals and mounting nails, a large sheet of heavy cardboard with dozens of completely cut and finished and numbered hardwood parts held on with string, a factory sealed bag of fully finished fittings of metal, wood and plastic, numerous other hardwood parts completely cut to shape and numbered, deadeyes and blocks, paint and glue, wood stock as required and a complete set of sewn, ready-to-install cloth sails, black and white standing and running rigging thread, instructions in English and a full size plan sheet with many views, complete part identifications by number and excellent rigging diagrams. The kit has never been started. All the small parts are still in the factory sealed bags or factory-tied to the display piece. Only the hull was not factory sealed. With full size plans and instructions. Constructo kits were made in Spain and early issues in the USA were marketed by Constructo Nautical Miniatures, Inc, New York 1. There were many series of kits issues by size; some smaller and some larger than this kit.

N.K. Tichonravov lead the design team for this rocket powered interceptor in 1940. It actually had a mixed power plant of one liquid fuel rocket engine and two VS Zujev pulsejets. Due to power plant problem, the prototype was only flown as a glider. Armament was heavy with four 20mm cannons. The flight characteristics during testing were excellent. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions.

Very rare original issue hardbox kit from 1963. The box is in 'very good+' condition with great color and gloss. The flaws are light corner and very light edge wear, as well as a very fine vertical scratch on the center left; it may not show up in the photo but it is there. All four corners are solid and there are no tape or price tags or marks. Inside, the kit is molded in the correct tan. It has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts. The instructions are in 'excellent' condition with light yellowing. This kit must be shipped insured.

Rare and still factory sealed. This is a scale model of one of the very first wagons used at Yellowstone National Park shortly after the park opened in 1872. This wagon, with roll-down curtains and three forward facing seats, carried from six to nine passengers and was well suited for sight-seeing. These wagons were also used for stage runs in the area. Authentic, large-scale model from high quality, die-cut California Redwood, Ponderosa Pine and other materials as required. Measures 9 inches long, 4.75 inches wide and 6.6 inches high when assembled. This excellent series contained several other kits, all done to the same (unlisted) scale - Covered Wagon, Log Wagon, Jerky Wagon, Mule Team, Horse Team, Ox Team, Jail Wagon, Yellowstone Wagon, Buckboard Wagon, Sheepherders Wagon, Ore Wagon, Conestoga Wagon, Milk Wagon, Chuck Wagon, Delivery Wagon, Dray Wagon, Stage Coach and Water Wagon. Old hobby shop stock that has never been up for retail sale. Very rare kit dated 1957; first and only issue. Very nice, large-scale model for that time with a fully operational mobile operations trailer. The aircraft is molded in gloss silver & clear while the trailer/launcher is bright yellow. The kit has never been started. When you open the box, it is exactly as it left the factory down to the packing tissue paper. The silver parts (aircraft) are still in the factory sealed bag. The yellow parts and clear canopy were never factory sealed and are inventoried complete. Includes 'excellent' condition decals and instructions. The box grades 'very good' which is rare for this kit. The red color is in unusually good shape, which is rare; as you may know, it usually ages poorly. The colors are bright and vibrant, all four corners are solid with no repairs, there is no fading, no tape, no price tags and no stains. Flaws include edge wear as shown and 3 small litho chips as well as creases visible at the lower left corner and center right. Although not perfect, it is one of the best I have seen.

Very rare. From 1952 or '53. This is one of (if not) Revell's first gift set. It is Gowland-produced with no part number. Gowland designed and molded these kits as well as providing the box artwork (signed D.K. Gowland) and instructions - Revell did the marketing. Inside, the kit is correct with all cardboard dividers, all small parts still factory sealed in the correct wax paper bags, cars molded in red, black, dark blue, yellow and green, tires molded in black and correct instructions. The models have never been started. All kits have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts present. Before the 1950s 'model building' never made the top 10 list of boy's activities. Hobbies were nothing new to America in the 1930s/40s, but they were not mainstream. By the late 1910 and early '20s, many dedicated modelers were building flying or static airplanes, ship, train, automotive or other subjects. Basic kits existed, but the majority of these models were built from scratch, which demanded a high talent level developed from years of experience. By the 1930s, the 'Aviation Craze" had taken hold of this country and kits appeared everywhere. However, it was estimated at the time that at least 80% of these were never sucessfully completed (and fewer than that flown). That changed in the early 1950s with the advent of plastics and affordable injection molding equipement. The phenomenon of the all-plastic Revell/Gowland & Gowland 'Highway Pioneers' car kits was a significant force in proving that model building as a hobby could have mass appeal, provided that the kits were easy enough to build and finish. These 1/32 scale vehicles were completely molded to shape in color and could be built in an hour after dinner. When complete, they looked much like the real car. The Highway Pioneers series lead to the production of other subjects in plastic and the effect was revolutionary. By the early 1960s, model building was the #1 past time of American boys...and adult males as well!

Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are both in 'excellent' condition with the typical yellowing as the only real flaw.
