1959 issue of the military bomber turned civil transport. Molded in the correct gloss gull gray and clear with the clear triangle 'World' stand and Aeroflot decals. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The box has clear tape on the corners.

Testors-Hawk Canada issue. Softbox is dated 1961 but is actually much later than that. Nice 1/48 kit of the sleek 1925 Schneider Trophy Winner. Molded in white. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: decals are micro-cracking

Renwal 2 for 1 Aeroskin Fabulous Flying Machines Antoinette 1908 Monoplane and Voisin Farman 1908 Biplane, 1/72, 212-100

Kit includes both models. Very nicely detailed. The Antoinette was the first plane in the world to attain an altitude of 500 feet, and the Voisin made the first city-to-city powered flight. These are unique and accurate kits. The original internal frame structure and details of the aircraft is built from injection molded plastic. When complete, it is covered with a very strong fabric which is included. The result is a very realistic aircraft. The kits have never been started. The Antoinette has been inventoried 100% complete and the Farman is missing #13 (lower pilot's tub) and is otherwise complete. Includes covering material, Testors covering glue (which is evaporated) and instructions.

Matchbox Heinkel He-115 - Finnish or Luftwaffe, 1/72, PK401

Includes markings for Finnish LeLv 46 1942, Luftwaffe 1/Kustenfliegergruppe 706 Denmark 1940 and 1/Kustenfliegergruppe 406 Tromso Norway 1942. The last group took part in the attacks on Convoy PQ17 in June/July of 1942 in which 23 of 36 vessels were sunk by air attack and U-boats. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

Williams Brothers 1931 Hall's Bulldog Racer, 1/32, 32-932

Still factory sealed. The Bulldog was a famous racing aircraft from the 132 National, Greve and Thompson Air Races. It is widely held that this was the most attractive of the 1930s racers. Features very good fine moldings, very good cockpit and engine detail, hard or rubber wheels, extensive stripe and other decals and painting patterns for an authentic finish.

Dated 1960, but I believe this is actually a later issue due to the 100 cent price extension and no 'Famous Fighters' logo on the short box sides. Molded in a brilliant gloss deep blue and clear with the clear triangle 'World' stand. These molds are from one of Aurora's first two kits - the F9F and F-90. Aurora simply went out and purchased the early Hawk F9F and F-90 kits and copied them almost exactly. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals are intact but have micro-cracking from age.

Second issue in a 1955 dated hardbox in great condition. The first issue has same art but kit #P9 instead of PA9. The box is in 'Excellent' condition with as new color and gloss, four solid corners and very light general wear. Kit features optional position cabin door, rotating propellers and wheels, pilot, copilot, hostess and passenger figures and colorful TWA decals. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Aurora SE-5 Scout, 1/48, 103-69

First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This logo only appeared for one year. In 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. The artwork is by Jim Cox. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Molded in glossy olive green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: instructions are date 1956 but have the oval 'Famous Fighters' logo.

1958 first issue with fantastic Jo Kotula boxart. This is the Parents' Magazine issue with the seal located in the lower right. In the day this was considered a fine kit and rated highly in reviews. Classic 1930s Navy Biplane Fighter that is still famous for their colorful paint jobs at that that time. Cowl, tail and trim color would vary with the group's Aircraft Carrier (Ranger, Lexington or Saratoga and the aircraft's position in the flight formation. NOTE: has minor assembly. The seat and floor have been neatly glued to the cockpit. Quality of assembly is professional. There is no other assembly and zero painting. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed but the seal has split on the bottom and left, and the box has damage as shown on the left. First issue dated 1958 with brilliant Jo Kotula box artwork. This was a very nice kit for that time.

Dated 1958 with Jo Kotula box art; this issue is likely from the early to mid 1960s as there is no 'Famous Fighters' in the logo boarder. The box is in fantastic condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no fading or price tags and the only tape marks are from the factory sealing tape. Molded in silver and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

From 1958. Hard-to-find second issue with classic artwork. From ex-Advanced molds. Kit features good outline, very good interior with seats, dash board, steering wheel and column and floor with carpet texture, convertible top cover, gas tank and filler cap, front and rear bumpers and real rubber tires. Molded in a bright gloss red. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.

Still factory sealed. Hardbox issue dated 1964. Kit can be built stock or custom and features molded underside detail, full interior and separately molded tail lights, headlights, license frame, grill sections and bumpers. The custom version includes front and rear end treatments, 'scoops', decals and more. Molded in colored plastic, clear (windshield), chrome plate and with black rubber tires.

Also includes correct size Cox #245 6x4P plastic props (sealed pack of two) and Du-Bro Low Bounce Shock Absorbing Sheels 1 3/4" diamter, also sealed. The actual kit is a classic by AFI. There was a time when electric flight was pioneering and daring, and that, with it's performance, made this aircraft was the hit of the 1972 Nationals. As the box says 'The Quiet Revolution Is Here!' Features simple and sturdy balsa construction, stable aerodynamics and snappy performance. Has numerous die-cut parts, fully formed landing gear struts, some plastic parts, hinges, hardware, full size plans and easy-to-follow instructions. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including plans and instructions. NOTE: this kit comes in a very sturdy box. It will be shipped in this box (with no external box) unless you specify otherwise.

UPC Curtiss P-36A - (ex-Aoshima) - US Army Air Force, 1/100, 8006-50

From Aoshima molds with box art by Scott Eidson. Nice early kit molded in dark navy blue and clear, with rotating prop, working ailerons and flaps and opening canopy. Has decals for pre-war USAAF. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufactures and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
